The B52s is in the style of a 1950s album cover. The art credit is 'Sue Absurd', because TW wanted the album cover to have it's own authenticity. Sue Absurd was a better name for the B52s designer than Tony Wright . The 'Third World' records are sometimes signed 'Dan'. 'Dan' is the Rastafarian 'Scorpio' Each pastiche seemed it should have it's own independent creator.

To achieve the flat bright yellow essential for the picture this art was made as a composite with overlays for the printer to follow. There is no original B 52s art.
